The two singers will release a new song to benefit America's hurricane relief efforts, according to Contactmusic."My heart is filled with tears for the victims and all those who have lost loved ones in Hurricane Katrina and Rita", Jean confessed through a statement."No one can challenge mother nature. All we can do now is band together the best we can as one family and help everyone get back on their feet", the singer added.Jean and Jones co-wrote the lyrics for the song, which, according to Yahoo, includes the lines: "I see the airplane. I hear the engine on the boat. But you all can’t see me waving the flag. Somebody please wave the flag."The single titled ANY OTHER DAY is set to be released today as a digital download through MSN Music.All of the proceeds from the song will go to the American Red Cross and AmeriCares For Gulf Coast hurricane relief.
